Rob DeGrand Memorial Foundation

The 19th Annual Rob DeGrand Memorial Softball Tournament was August 11 - 14, 2011 at the Davister ballfield in Sugarbush. Thank you to everyone who supported this year's tournament!

This year's event included a luminary ceremony. On August 12 and 13, people purchased a bagged votive in honor of their loved one for the luminary ceremony. Saturday's events closed with the luminary ceremony and a DJ played from 8 p.m. until 1 a.m. A raffle and silent auction were held throughout the weekend, with both closing on Sunday afternoon.

The proceeds from 2010 were donated to the following: three $750 college scholarships, an individual who suffered a heart attack, a child born with birth defects, two individuals who suffered surgical complications, two victims of a house fires, four individuals in automobile accidents, six cancer patients, a support group for children with Trisomy Chromosome Disorder and other local charities and fundraisers.
